Put food coloring in the toilet tank to identify the leaks. After half an hour, check the water in the toilet bowl. If you see any color, you’ve got a leak.

It is important to know where your main water valve is and what to do if there is an issue.

Suppose if pipes are burst, turning off your main water valve will reduce the damage until we can get there to help. If you don’t know where it is, you should spend a lot of time scrambling while your home sustains significant water damage.

Make Sure Your Main Sewer Drain Is Accessible

Check whether your main sewer drain is always free and clear. If a sewage line is blocked, we need to be able to move quickly and efficiently.
