More Information About KidsDay 2010 is below!

Date: April 17th 2010
Time: 10 – 4 pm
Location: Dena’ina Center & Partner Locations

Anchorage’s Promise KidsDay at the Dena’ina Center is a day of free, interactive activities for youth & families. Over 70 youth-serving agencies and organizations provide free activities and information on the program services available to children, youth and families. Throughout the day, entertainment is provided by talented youth.  Transportation to outlying AP KidsDay Partner locations can be taken directly from the Convention Center

Anchorage’s Promise – The Alliance for Youth sponsors KidsDay to help our youth, parents and community understand the importance of ensuring that each young person receives the five fundamental resources that they need to allow them to grow into caring adults. Exhibitors and the activities that they provide build an understanding of the importance of safe places for kids, providing a healthy start and future, the value of having a caring adult in the life of each youth, why effective education can ensure that all youth have the skills needed to pursue college, vocational training and the field of work that they are interested in. KidsDay also provides the opportunity for youth to give back to their community in a valuable way through Global Youth Service.
