Global Youth Service (GYS) is a YSA program for engaging youth in service, volunteering, and civic responsibility. GYS projects and participants are celebrated in Alaska on KidsDay. Last year, over 20,000 youth made a difference in their community! Service-learning brings learning together with service in one curriculum. Youth design, implement, and celebrate a project that brings about a change within their community.
